J.Juan keeps making steps forward regarding its technological quality, this time it has been the mass production of the newest monoblock caliper manufactured for high standing bikes, both for road and competition.
The industrialisation of this type of caliper let J.Juan becomes the third worldwide manufacturer able to develop and make real this kind of brake system, positioning the Spanish company at the same level of the leading brakes brands.
Manufactured from a unique block of molten aluminium, this monoblock caliper has the aim to reach the best link between weight and rigidity. Its fixed anchor –radial one- guarantees the maximum braking efficiency, reducing reaction time.
The new J.Juan’s monoblock calipers are compatible with most of the bikes manufactured by the different factories around the world, which equips forks of 100mm and discs brake until 330mm diameter. They are assembled with 4 latest generation pistons, situated 2 to 2, which allows the maximum dissipation of the heat generated during the braking.
Today, J.Juan’s monoblock caliper is only massively produced to equip some well-known models of bike. However, for 2019 summer, it’s expected that this caliper will be also sold as a power-parts, providing road and competition bikes with the best braking power.
El proyecto “Investigación y desarrollo de una nueva familia de pinzas de freno para motocicletas de media y alta cilindrada con mayor eficiencia y seguridad en la frenada y con un proceso de fabricación optimo”, con nº de expediente RTC-2015-4092-4, presentado en la convocatoria de ayudas “Programa Estatal de I+D+i Orientada a los Retos de la Sociedad (RETOS), que ha sido desarrollado gracias a la cofinanación del Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER)” con el objetivo de promover el desarrollo tecnológico, la innovación y una investigación de calidad.
