Maverick Viñales has earned his seventh podium of the season in the Japanese Motegi circuit after a second place starting from the second row of the grid. With this new achievement, the pupil of Sito Pons mathematically secures a third place in the championship with three races still remaining.


His partner in the HP 40 Páginas Amarillas, Luis Salom, has had a more difficult race, starting from the twenty-fifth position, and has been climbing to finish fifteenth.

Both drivers use in their Kalex Moto2 the latest evolution of the J.Juan braided brake hoses developed in Moto GP and World Superbikes.
