Wuling, a car brand that debuts in motorcycles with brakes J.Juan

Wuling Motors, a Chinese company that makes cars and commercial vehicles, is now expanding into motorcycles with the Serpol 501, an unabashed homage to the Honda CMX 500 Rebel.

According to the prestigious Greek magazine Bikeit, “in December 2022, they applied for a patent to manufacture motorcycles, and at the end of February 2023 they began to show the motorcycle they presented at the Beijing Fair (May 24) called Serpol 501.

It is a bike that is very reminiscent of the Honda CMX 500 Rebel, where we find a J.Juan four-piston caliper, mounted radially, which seems to take care of braking with the single disc brake on the front wheel, combined with a sensor ring for the ABS.

With 494 cc and around 54 hp, there are already Euro 5-compatible versions available with 48 hp. We could see this bike in Europe by the end of the year.

J.Juan is the world leader in the manufacture of braided hydraulic hoses and the second largest European motorcycle brake manufacturer. It was founded in 1965 in Barcelona (Spain) and employs 640 people. The company is part of the Brembo Group, a world leader in brake technology, founded in 1961 in Bergamo (Italy), with more than 12,000 employees in 15 countries and on 3 continents, with 29 production and business sites. Brembo owns prestigious brands such as AP, AP Racing, Breco, Bybre, J.Juan, Marchesini and SBS Friction.

Car and Bike India rates CFMoto 450 NK as Premium

The prestigious Indian motor magazine Car And Bike is full of praise for the new CFMoto 450 NK that has been recently launched. It places it above its competitors such as the Yamaha MT03, the Duke 390 or the BMW G310 R. Why? Because “The 450NK has premium components, such as the J.Juan braking system” which consists of a four-piston radial caliper on the front wheel and a single-piston radial caliper on the rear wheel. Both the pistons and the pumps, also from the Barcelona manufacturer, are linked to the dual-channel ABS by a high-security metal braided hydraulic system also designed and manufactured by J.Juan.”

Car and Bike also highlights the inverted front forks sourced from KYB, along with a rear monoshock to effectively handle suspension duties.”
