A survey organized by J.Juan among Motoh stated that Marc Márquez, Thomas Luthi and Romano Fenati will be the winners of the 2017 MotoGP World Championship. The study has been conducted on a sample of 492 people, including riders attending the J.Juan ’braking’ activity made in the external testing area.

Approaching the week end with the second MotoGP round of the year in Argentina, J.Juan group carried out a macro survey to reveal who the fans believe this year will win the Championship. Both via WhatsApp and in person, the forecasts were collected from some of the participants in the contest ‘Apurando la frenada’ organized by Gavà’s company last weekend at the MotoH Barcelona Show.

Between the 500 persons part of the sample, 42% bet that Márquez will win his fourth title in the premier class with Honda; 26% quote Maverick Viñales and 24% affirm that this is the year of the tenth title of Valentino Rossi. The 8% bet on Jorge Lorenzo.

In the intermediate category the numbers are more tight. On the podium we have Thomas Luthi, Álex Márquez and Franco Morbidelli, respectively with 26%, 25% and 16%. The 15% of the participants believe that the title will be won by Jorge Navarro, while the 11% voted for Takaaki Nakagami. Finally, the 7% predicted that 2017 will be the year of Andrea Locatelli.

But, it is in the Moto3 category where there is a clear favorite: Romano Fenati. The 52% believe that Moto3 title will be won by the Honda rider, compared to a 20% thinking about the Qatar winner, Joan Mir; the 15% voted for Jorge Martín while the 8% bet on the team Monlau and Enea Bastianini. A discreet 5% believe that the title will be won by John McPhee.
