Wuling, a car brand that steps into the motorbike market with J.Juan brakes

Wuling Motors, a Chinese company that manufactures cars and commercial vehicles, is entering the motorbike sector with its Serpol 501. A ruthless homage to the Honda CMX 500 Rebel.

According to the prestigious Greek magazin Bikeit, “in December 2022, Wuling filed for a motorbike production permit, and in late February 2023, they started showing off the motorbike that they finally introduced at the Beijing fair on May 24th and goes by the name Serpol 501.

It will very much remind you of the Honda CMX 500 Rebel, where there is also a 4-piston radial front caliper by J.Juan that is connected to ABS via a sensor ring.

With its 494cc and some 54 units of horsepower, there are already 48hp versions compatible with Euro 5. You might start seeing it around in Q4 2023.

Car and Bike India qualifies CFMoto 450 NK as premium

The prestegious Indian automotion magazines Car and Bike cover the new CFMoto 450 NK in sweet-talk and place it above competing vehicles such as the Yamaha MT03, the Duke 390 or the BMW G310 R. Why? Because “The 450NK has premium components in it like J.Juan brakes that come in the form of a 4-piston front radial caliper and a 1-piston back radial caliper. Both the pistons and the master cylinders, also by the Barcelonian manufacturer, are coupled to the dual-channel ABS by means of a hydraulic system of braided stainless steel, also by J.Juan.”

Car and Bike, also highlights the inverted front forks by KYB together with their single shock suspension for better handling.

Successful shift of J.Juan facilities

Successful shift of J.Juan facilities

J.Juan has relocated most of its production of high-quality stainless-steel brake hoses from its headquarters to its facility in St. Cugat. We did so in just a week without disrupting supply to any of our clients worldwide. Right now, our plant in St. Cugat (Barcelona) houses the production of both our braided stainless-steel brake hoses and our brake systems.

After 23 years working at full steam, time has come for the floor of our production plant at our headquarters in Gavà to be both reworked and improved as we expect increased production for the coming years.

With a revenue of 103 million euros in 2022, J.Juan keeps investing in its future as production increases and our brands J.Juan and Braktec expand.

J.Juan renews its collaboration agreement with the Kawasaki Racing Team (WSBK)

J.Juan renews its collaboration agreement with the Kawasaki Racing Team (WSBK)

For the 9th consecutive year, J.Juan bets on the Kawasaki Racing Team, the leading team in the World Superbike Championship.

Led by Guim and Biel Roda, the Kawasaki team won 7 world titles in 9 years (1 with Tom Sykes and another 6 consecutives for Jonathan Rea). They are one of the best teams in recent WorldSBK history.

The Kawasaki Racing Team sports a complete system of hydraulic brake hoses by J.Juan. Its tubing is made out of an unexpandable mesh steel, and it doesn’t budge to the heat. That gives riders unparalleled consistency in feeling when braking.

Jonathan Rea defined it as follows: “I use J.Juan’s brake hoses on my Kawasaki because they allow me to have the same feeling with the brakes from the first corner to the last”. Hydraulics are responsible for sending the pressure applied by pilots from levers and pedals to calipers. Pilots know braking is as important as giving gas in order to smash records and step onto the podium. That’s why our product is extremely valued by them.
