Successful shift of J.Juan facilities

Successful shift of J.Juan facilities

J.Juan has relocated most of its production of high-quality stainless-steel brake hoses from its headquarters to its facility in St. Cugat. We did so in just a week without disrupting supply to any of our clients worldwide. Right now, our plant in St. Cugat (Barcelona) houses the production of both our braided stainless-steel brake hoses and our brake systems.

After 23 years working at full steam, time has come for the floor of our production plant at our headquarters in Gavà to be both reworked and improved as we expect increased production for the coming years.

With a revenue of 103 million euros in 2022, J.Juan keeps investing in its future as production increases and our brands J.Juan and Braktec expand.

CF Moto with J.Juan Radial Twin 4p

CF Moto’s first large-displacement Trail bike is equipped with J.Juan’s “JJ Radial Twin 4p” brakes.

This new model represents a leap in quality for the Chinese brand that is making an important gap among the most relevant motorcycles in Europe.

The new CF Moto 800MT is the largest displacement motorcycle created by the Chinese brand to date. This model is positioned within the medium displacement trail segment at a very competitive price. The motorcycle has 94 hp of power and is limited for the A2 license.

In the brakes section, the Chinese brand continues betting on J.Juan due to the great results that the brakes equipped in the rest of the models have given it. It has the well-known “JJ Radial Twin 4p”, a double radial front caliper with four pistons each, and a monoblock rear; all of them with an excellent bite.

J.Juan already equips motorcycles of this offroad Sport touring style such as the KTM adventure 790 or the Husqvarna Norden 901.

Cf Moto is a brand that is gaining more and more prominence in the 2-wheel sector and entering the ATV and UTV sector.

J.JUAN dominates the Dakar again

J.JUAN dominates the Dakar again

The first 11 SxS USE J.JUAN BRAKES

With only a single stage of 452km left between Yanbu and Jeddar, J.Juan can confirm that we have had another spectacular Dakar. And that’s three in a row!

The Can Am Maverick X3, that uses the special brake calipers of the Barcelonese company, have won 11 of the top 12 places in the general classification of the category T4.

Only Wayne Matlock, one of the great stars of America’s Side by Side, where he has conquered several low 1,000 mile races and several trials of the Best in The Desert, finished 12th  in his Polaris RZR. Matlock has “infiltrated” the top 20 with his RZR and is the only non-Can Am and only vehicle not using J. Juan Brakes to reach that group.

Likewise, the 11 stages contested so far have been dominated by four teams that use J. Juan Brakes.. South Racing Can Am has won 7 stages (Chaleco Lopez (6) and Khalifa Al Attitah). Monster Energy has won 4 stages (Austin Jones (2), Aron Domzala and Reynaldo Varela). One stage each has been won by FN Speed (Saleh Alsaif) and SNAG Racing Team (Sergei Kariakin).

Three out of three is a great success for J.Juan and also adds this triumph to those obtained in Superbikes (6 title) or Trial (16 Worlds). In the Dakar, particularly in each of the last three years, the mark of the double J’s has propelled 19 vehicles in the top 20.

Vehicles equipped with the J. Juan Kit have also won the light vehicle category, which also included prototypes.

An important note is that of the 29 vehicles that departed in the event with J.Juan brakes, 26 have reached the final stage.
