Braktec dominates one more year in the world trial

For another year, and in 9 seasons since 2012, Braktec has been the brake system that has won the Trial World Cup. Again, Toni Bou and Adam Raga have played a short but intense championship that, although it has seen its competition venues reduced, has had the novelty of playing two events every weekend.

Both drivers have starred in a very intense sporting rivalry this season with alternation at the top of the podium, which led to a final date with the two swords at the top.

As he has subscribed in recent years, Toni Bou prevailed over Adam Raga and won his 12th world trial, a figure that matches the World Cups he also holds in the indoor event.

Both drivers, like the rest of the participants of the elite of the competition, equip their bikes with the Braktec brakes produced by J.Juan for the past several seasons. This year, both have taken advantage of the latest technology from the Barcelonese manufacturer and have equipped their state-of-the-art CNC caliper, called Gold.

Not only has Braktec shone in the top men’s category, but also in the women’s competition where Enma Bristow has won her sixth consecutive world cup, and where Sandra Gomez and Berta Abellán have also excelled.

J.Juan dominates the first Pre-Dakar test in SxS

The Dakar is already alive and well. The start of October has seen the first Pre-Dakar test of this atypical year of competition. The test was to take place in Morocco, as it does every year, but it had to move to the surroundings of Jerez (Spain) because of COVID-19 issues

The test served to prove that the favorites of each category are the favorites for a reason. In Side by Side, the brakes created and manufactured by J.Juan showed their excellence again with a resounding triumph.

J.Juan tripled the final podium in the SxS category, where two members of the Monster Can Am J.Juan team took first place and second place. The Polish Aron Domzala was the winner, followed by Gerard Farrés. Third place was taken by the Portuguese Rui Carneiro

J.Juan’s website is now also in Japanese

Since July 17th, the J. Juan webpage also has a Japanese version, attending to the demands that were being made both by mail and social networks to inform our clients and colleagues about production and news in the Japanese language.

The website contains the same information as the English and Spanish versions, with a native translation system that allows the information to be incorporated into the three languages simultaneously.

Japanese motorcycle companies are also pleased with this adaptation. Together, we have collaborated with them in competition and have garnered more than 15 world titles in the last year.

J.Juan is fully on the move

COVID-19 has shown us that many companies have stopped their production. This was not the case of  J.Juan  who, despite the fourteen-day stop suffered in Spain and India, has continued to serve his customers from the  Jianxing plant in China and from Fides (electronic) in Sant Cugat del Valles (Barcelona)

Barcelona’s tube and brake manufacturing plants were forced to cease their activity in Spain due to the state of alarm until April 14, as it was considered a non-essential activity by the Spanish government.

In that span, Fides (J. Juan’s electronic division) maintained its manufacturing activity due to its electro-medicinal production, which was much needed during this pandemic.

As of April 14, J. Juan began production activity again in the plants following a strict health safety protocol that has prevented all its 480 workers from being directly affected by COVID-19.

Production has been incorporated with a specific schedule that allows us to meet market requirements while safeguarding the health of workers. Those who are not strictly necessary in the production plant are developing their functions in Telework mode.

Given the circumstances that have come to life, J. Juan’s management has been very satisfied with the solutions adopted to be able to combine health and production in the hope of being at the levels of February 2020 in a short space of time.
