J.JUAN Strengthens its presence in this country, where is seated commercially since 2007
Madrid, April 26, 2013. COFIDES president, Salvador Marín, and administrator and counselor of J. JUAN, Carlos Juan and Jose Luis Juan, have signed an agreement in which COFIDES financed with 485,000 euros J.JUAN, S.A for the expansion of his motorcycle parts factory in China.
The volume of the transaction will be provided by COFIDES own funds, which together with the contribution of the promoter, of 275,000 euros, involving a total investment of 760,000 euros for the implementation of this project.
It is an international production expansion of this company, which dedicates its activity to the design and manufacture of control cables, brake components and brake systems for motorcycles. This project will consolidate its presence in the Chinese market, which accounts for 57% of total global sales. The company has a wide international experience as it exports 90% of its sales and the factory will allow to continue at the forefront of its industry.
COFIDES president, Salvador Marín, said after signing the agreement that “J.JUAN is a leader in its sector, with a wide experience and extensive international presence by exporting their products” In his view, “this production plant has to be a model for other SMEs in similar situations, to launch into the international market to grow as a company and diversify in markets that could reinforce the “mother company”
The administrator of J. JUAN, Carlos Juan, expressed his gratitude to COFIDES by “trust and support to boost our internationalization project as well as all Spanish entrepreneurs.”
