On March 12th of 2015 a great ceremony took place in Chongqing (China) for the signature of an agreement between LONCIN and BMW. According to this new agreement, LONCIN will undertake of a 350cc water-cooled scooter with ABS brakes in accordance with BMW’s standard and Euro IV requirement. The German manufacturer will commercialize the vehicle in the global market with an expected sales volume of 15.000 units per annum. LONCIN will invest more than 100 Million RMB to upgrade the facilities and equipment to guarantee the success of this project.
The ceremony was lead by Mr. Stephen Challer, President of BMW MOTORRAD, and Mr. Gao Yong, President of LONCIN and the top people of both companies. Besides some suppliers selected for their significant participation in the project, were invited. It was a great honour for JJUAN to be invited to the ceremony and to be given the opportunity to present the products which will be assembled in the new scooter (brake, parking brake and throttle components). Both BMW and LONCIN recognize the value of JJUAN not only as an engineering collaborator with a high product know-how, but also as a global supplier which offers the possibility of buying directly in the Chinese market through JJUAN China.
