Jonathan Rea has won all three races he has participated in this week in Portugal that has allowed him to win the world Superbike championship for the first time this season.
With these 3 victories, Rea already has 5 victories in this anomalous season. Portimao is one of the talismal circuits and it adds a total of 12 victories on the Portuguese circuit. With more podiums than in Assen, where he has also won 12 times, the Algarve circuit is now the best circuit for Jonathan Rea.
As for the lead, after a major change in the championship positions, Rea leads with 136 points, Redding 132, Razgatlioglu 103, Lowes 95 and Michael van der Mark 82.
The next round will be the first of two consecutive race weekends at the Motorland Aragon circuit in Spain, the first of which will take place between 28 and 30 August.
