Last April 9th the J.Juan facilities welcomed the official Kawasaki Racing Team, including the British Superbike riders Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea, the current leader of the 2015 Superbike World Championship. The visit was also attended by the President of the RFME, Mr. Ángel Viladoms.
The team had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of J.Juan Group in Gavà (Barcelona), and see in detail how a brake system for high-powered motorcycle is designed and manufactured, together with the motorsport brake hoses that the current Kawasaki ZX10R Superbikes uses since 2013. These hoses inherit some of the techniques and patented solutions that J.Juan is currently using in order to suit the main motorcycles from BMW, Triumph, Ducati and other major brands.
The J.Juan General Manager, Mº. Angels Juan, was responsible for chairing the event and talk about this new stage of collaboration between J. Juan and Kawasaki Racing Team “This is very a special day for us, because we have both the presence of the Kawasaki team and the President of the RFME, Àngel Viladoms, thus we reaffirm our commitment not only to make the best brake systems, but to encourage and support teams racing at the highest level, but without forgetting our commitment to schools and universities, providing technical support allowing us a technological evolution of our products. ”
After the visit, representatives of the national and international press had the opportunity to interview both drivers, for which the 2015 season looks very exciting and more likely to get back the title of World Champion.
