Last November, Artur Mas, The President of Catalonia, travelled to India with more than 40 companies, including J.Juan, to intensify the commercial and financial relations with the mentioned country, which is one of the most important developing countries in the world.
For J.Juan, it’s been a profitable trip, since we visited some local factories, like Hero, the biggest 2 wheeler motorcycles manufacturer in India, with an average of 5milion of motorcycles per year. We also visited the Technical Center of Mahindra, in Chenai.
A part from de visits, there were some interesting meetings with different organizations, such as FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry), or the ACMA (Automotive Component Manufacturers Association).
During the week, the Catalonian Government and the Spanish Embassy showed its support and commitment to help to all the Catalan companies, and to J.Juan. This helped to reinforce the image of J.Juan in India, market that we have been developing in an intensive way during the last 4 years.
The Catalan companies were also supported by Vicenç Aguilera, the president of the Automotive cluster in Catalonia.
J.Juan took this chance to keep growing the company in India.
